The 2021 IASJ Research Conference, 12-14 November, Leiden, The Netherlands
The IASJ and ACPA, the Academy of Creative and Performing Arts of the University in Leiden, are hosting the research conference. The main focus is on ‘applied jazz research’: research that is strongly connected to jazz performance and jazz education. Ed Sarath is invited and has accepted to be one of the keynote speakers.
One of the goals of the conference is to create content for the IASJ Jazz Research Journal. The journal will be published by Grand Valley State University Libraries in Michigan, USA.
The IASJ Conference will be on location and online.
The conference is now open to receive proposals for papers, presentations and discussion topics.
