Two days, 3 sessions on each day at 3 pm, 5pm and 7 pm Amsterdam time = CET.
The six sessions will be ‘Zoom-casted’ from a small studio in ‘The New Energy’, a ‘working-together-apart’ flex office in which the IASJ is located.

Round table: Jazz research in the IASJ. From the ‘Ongoing Dialogues’ to Phd. Who is doing what in the IASJ?
Friday 12 November 3 pm:
Round table: state of the art of jazz research in Belgium and The Netherlands. Research groups at conservatories, ACPA, docARTES, Casper Visser explains ‘the Research Catalogue’. What is achieved and what needs to be done?
Friday 12 November 5 pm:
Felipe Salles: The New Immigrant Experience. Speech patterns translated into musical themes explained and used in a multimedia.
Friday 12 November 7 pm:
The IASJ Research Journal: the new IASJ online journal, to be published by Grand Valley State University Libraries. Step up, how to contribute, editorial board. ‘Applied Jazz Research’ explained.
