One more thin‍g...

For about a year the sleve of this elpee‍ was prominently exposed in my living room. I listened to the record many times. Finally I could book a trip to New York. I decided to have a pizza next to the Village Vanguard, two hours before the concert. And here he was: Mel Lewis sitting right next to me. We talked and talked. I learned so much. He was so generous. One private student after another came by to make appointments for lessons. "He will never get it.." "She is going to be a great drummer!" During the concert Mel showed the sleeve of this LP and said: "CD's? Buy this!"
