The exact date and the location are still pending. If the meeting takes place, it will be in the first half of October.

The next IASJ Executive Director

Current Executive Director Wouter (Walter) Turkenburg steps back by the end of 2024. He continues the task of Service Bureau Coordinator, doing administrative work, website management and the financial bookkeeping. The IASJ Board is currently searching for the next IASJ Executive Director.

Next to the Artistic Director David Liebman, the Executive Director represents the IASJ. The ED as well maintains contact with the IASJ Member Schools, interests new members to join, helps organize the IASJ Jazz Meetings, and finds host schools that want to organize a meeting.

Recently, the 1250th download of an article in Volume 1 of the 'IASJ Research Journal' was reached. Volume 2 will be published in the fall of 2024. Do you have an article, an opinion, or something you would like to share with the entire world? Please submit!
