At the New School, the host school of the 2022 IASJ Jazz Meeting, Keller Coker and his experienced team are working daily preparing the 2022 IASJ Jazz Meeting. It will be a real New York meeting putting the New School in the spotlight as well the New York jazz scene of which the meeting is part of this week.
After following the same path in the past 30 years, now it is time to bring some new elements into the IASJ Jazz Meeting. The New School, always on the forefront of innovation in education, will take care of that!

The 2021 IASJ Research Conference
On 11 and 12 November 2021 the online IASJ Conference took place. On each day 3 session were organized. Reports of these sessions are almost finished. They will be published on the website of the conference soon. The reports are the opening articles of the IASJ Jazz Research Journal. The 2023 IASJ Jazz Meeting, Helsinki, Finland
Jussi Kanaste, head of the jazz department at the Sibelius Academy, is the Host School Coordinator for the IASJ Jazz Meeting in 2023. He will be assisted by his colleagues. In 2023 the jazz department celebrates its 40th year of existence. Yes, we will look back at all the great things the Sibelius Academy has achieved but also look at the current state of jazz education in the world.
